George Clooney On The Idea Of Bringing His Back Batman In The Flash Movie

Two-time Oscar winner George Clooney has starred in some of cinema’s best films. However, there is one film that, well, wasn’t so great. I usually do not refer to it by its title, and call it The Voldermort of Films. Here’s a hint, he wore a cape and seemed to be cold during much of the film. You folks know which movie I’m talking about. Yep, that movie.

With The Flash film slowly making progress, and the Batmen (?) of Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck said to be returning for the film, Clooney was recently asked if he would be up for reprising his version of Batman. You can check out what he had to say while speaking with Empire below.

“[laughs] It’s funny – you’ll notice they didn’t call me! Somehow I didn’t get that call. They did not ask for my nipples. Listen, there are certain things you never know. This one, I know [laughs].

Bad Bat

It was a truly awful film. However, from everything I’ve seen and read, Clooney seems to be a pretty good sport about it, as you can see from his nipple joke above. Those weren’t that bad in my opinion. I could certainly do without them, but the big-time cringe for me was the Bat credit card. No. Just,  No.

The film just had tons of chaotic campiness with the worst dialogue of any Batman film. And yes that includes the film that came from the Adam West 1966 series. Clooney takes a lot of s**t for the film, and, well, not very much of it was his fault. The film put the franchise in a coma for the better part of a decade until Christopher Nolan’s take on the character brilliantly brought the Bat back.
