After Great White took a huge bite from Shark Week and Shark Month over the summer, the film is set for the horror/thriller streaming service next month.
The film stars Katrina Bowden (Piranha 3DD, 30 Rock), Aaron Jakubenko (Tidelands), Kimie Tsukakoshi (Riptide), Tim Kano (Neighbours), and Te Kohe Tuhaka (Love and Monsters, The Dead Lands). Martin Wilson made his directorial debut from a script written by Michael Boughen (Dying Breed).
In Great White, a blissful tourist trip turns into a nightmare when five seaplane passengers are stranded miles from shore. In a desperate bid for survival, the group tries to make it to land before they either run out of supplies or are taken by a menacing terror lurking just beneath the surface.

As terrifying as the oceans might be, sharks will always be the terrifying hunters and serial killers of the waters. Since Jaws, shark horror movies still manage to strike fear into our souls time after time.
Great White is another one of those shark films that portray these beasts as intelligent creatures hunting their human prey. Despite the ocean paradise off the coast of Australia (in real life with many shark encounters), humans should think twice about entering the waters knowing these fanged monsters are in the waters.
Great White streams exclusively on Shudder on November 11 for the United States and Canadian audiences.
