Has Cloverfield 5 Already Been Shot, And Does It Star Daisy Ridley?

Cloverfield 3 has only just been released (as The Cloverfield Paradox on Netflix), and Cloverfield 4 has only just been rumored to exist, but we’re already hearing rumors regarding a potential Cloverfield 5.

A film that’s been in development for several years by Bad Robot is now being rumored as the next likely contender. Kolma is a supernatural drama (based on a 2003 Israeli TV movie Kol Ma, which translates to All I’ve Got) that dates back to around 2013, where director Ron Howard was attached to helm. Back in 2016, actress Daisy Ridley was attached to star, and here was the synopsis:

“Directed by Keren Margalit, All I’ve Got revolves around the life of Tamara, who survived the freak car accident that killed her boyfriend, Udi. Though she went on to marry another man and have 3 children, her death at 75 leaves her at a crossroads. Once in the afterlife, Tamara is given the choice to forget the memory of her life post-accident and be young again with Udi, or choose to remain as she is and wait for her husband to join her.”

Of course, that sounds nothing like a Cloverfield movie, but we can’t deny that the last two were retroactively turned into Cloverfield movies after the fact. One Reddit user is convinced that this is the next Cloverfield film, as evidenced by the theory below:

Kolma Is Cloverfield 5 Confirmed from r/Cloververse

Keep in mind that despite the headline of the Reddit post saying that it’s confirmed…it’s not. This is just a theory. Admittedly, there seems to be very little evidence backing this up, and the type of supernatural that Kolma has seems like a distant ancestor to the type in the Cloverfield movies.

That being said, anything is possible, and if they really wanted to make this happen, it would only take some script jury-rigging to make it happen. Plus, given that we haven’t heard anything about Kolma since 2016, and these movies tend to get made in secret…it’s not completely unbelievable.

What do you think? Could Kolma be the next Cloverfield film? Let us know your thoughts down below!
