So, this is a bit weird, but there’s a lot of buzz around that Thunderbolts new title is… Thunderbolts*! I know, why would they add an asterisk to a title, what could that mean? However the title, with asterisk has been seen here and there. One place for certain we see it is in a BTS video posted by Florence Pugh. Pugh used the official Marvel social media account, and we don’t get to see much. However, the video below does show Thunderbolts* on the back of the directors chair.

I don’t think the video is particularly that interesting. The weirdness with the title is what I find interesting and I’ve no idea what is going on? An Asterisk may indicate for example that this is now merely a working title. There could be a new name for the movie and the asterisk would make sense. However, there’s currently no rumor the title will change and it would be hard to get a better title than just Thunderbolts.
Aside from this we of course know Thunderbolts is filming now and it’s been rumored Pugh is the lead. We’ve also heard, more recently from RPK that Bucky is not a part of the team in the movie, so he has a smaller part than others.

I guess we will find out in time? Maybe this is some weird marketing ploy? After all, look at the mess Marvel made with the title of Agatha, which seems to be have been deliberate. I therefore just find this bizarre and worth mentioning to our readers. Maybe nothing much comes of this at all and the movie’s title ends up just Thunderbolts as always planned? I guess we will find out?
