Oscar-winning actor J.K. Simmons plays prominent characters in both the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the world od DC Comics Playing the editor-in-chief of The Daily Bugle, who is borderline obsessed with obtaining pictures of Spider-man. And in the world of DC Batman’s right-hand man on the inside, Commissioner Gordon.

Hopefully, with the release of the Snyder Cut next year on HBOMax, fans will get to see more of his Simmons as the head of Gotham City PD. Simmons believes he’s done everything Zack Snyder needs from him to be a part of the Snyder Cut. However, should there be a need for additional contributions, Simmons is totally on board. You can check out exactly what he said during an interview with ScreenRant below.

“Well, the Snyder cut is happening now at long last, as DC fans know. I’m excited that I’m a part of it. As far as I know, I’ve already done everything I have to do to be a part of Zack’s cut, which is to tell Zack, ‘Yes, I want to be a part of your cut.’ If there’s additional dialogue recording or additional shooting or whatever, I’d be happy to do it.”

I would be in on more J.K. Simmons in next year’s release of the Snyder cut. I think he was underutilized in the version we were given. Simmons is far too talented not to be given more screentime. The hype for this director’s cut is like no other before it, Snyder and HBO must have something spectacular in the works to make this journey worth the effort.
