With Scott Snyder’s Justice League already on it’s second issue and James Tynion IV’s Justice League Dark ready to hit stands July 25th, we are getting word via Newsarama that Joshua Williamson’s Justice League Odyssey will be delayed.

Justice League Odyssey #1 has been postponed from July 11th to August 29th. Also the second issue of the series has been pushed back from August 8th to September 26th. With that said the third issue of the series, which had been slated for a September 12th release will inevitably be delayed.

Although the exact reason for the delay is yet to be revealed, artist Stjepen Sejic has taken to Twitter to say that there was “a miscommunication between production lines and 2 already completed issues had to be scrapped”. But he goes on to reassure fans that everyone working on the book “are all very much dedicated to getting this book made and made right.”

I am very curious to find out the exact miscommunication that went down to cause two finished books to be thrown out. With that said I have no doubt that this book will be worth the wait. With storytelling from Williamson and Sejic’s gorgeous artwork, this book will be amazing when it hits the stands. For now we still have Justice League and Justice League Dark.
