Justin Roiland Creator Of Rick and Morty Lands New Adult Animated Series At Hulu

Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland has worked out a deal to bring a new animated show the streaming service Hulu. The show will be called Solar Opposites and will focus on a family extraterrestrials who find themselves living in middle America. The aliens aren’t in agreement as to whether their new situation is good or bad. Working with Roiland on the project is Mike McMahan who has worked with Roiland previously on Rick and Morty. Roiland will also be voicing the characters “Terry” and “Korvo,” alongside Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs) who will provide the voice for “Yumyulack” and Mary Mack voicing a character named “Jesse”. Solar Opposites received a two season order, consisting of 16 episodes from Hulu.

Rick and Morty, the series that elevated Roiland to a household name (at least with nerds) recently received a near unheard order of 70 episodes, which along with Solar Opposites should keep Roiland busy for the foreseeable future. This series sounds like it has potential, I just hope it doesn’t delay the production of Rick and Morty Season 4. Most of us enjoy Rick and Morty and now we will get a chance to see what else Roiland and Co. has to offer.
