The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special will be here in less than two weeks to celebrate Life Day. After 42 years since the original Star Wars Holiday Special we now have a special that will span over 9 movies. The original special is all but lost except for a couple of copies on YouTube was widely panned by everyone. It was more of a reaction to the popularity of A New Hope and an opportunity to capitalize the holiday market. In the new and improved holiday special our favorite characters are reuniting for one more journey. Disney+ shared a new trailer giving more insight how all the characters will be involved in the new special.

It is awesome to see all of our favorite Star Wars characters together again. This special looks to include all characters from the entire Skywalker Saga with its traditional Lego humor. Of course the clip that has me so excited is to see Anakin and Obi Wan still fighting after all these years. We can only hope that there is a “I have the higher ground” joke in there at some point!
The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special reunites Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose and the droids for a joyous feast on Life Day. Rey sets off on a new adventure with BB-8 to gain a deeper knowledge of the Force. At a mysterious Jedi Temple, she is hurled into a cross-timeline adventure through beloved moments in Star Wars cinematic history, coming into contact with Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan and other iconic heroes and villains from all nine Skywalker saga films. But will she make it back in time for the Life Day feast and learn the true meaning of holiday spirit?
The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special is streaming Nov. 17 on Disney+.
