Mark Ruffalo To Play Twins In New Limited Drama Series

Mark Ruffalo, who is probably best known for portraying both Bruce Banner and Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is now set to handle double duty on a new limited drama series in which the actor will portray a set of twins. Ruffalo will also be a producer on the show which is titled I Know This Much is True.

The series “follows the parallel lives of identical twin brothers Dominick and Thomas Birdsey, both played by Ruffalo, in an epic story of betrayal, sacrifice and forgiveness set against the backdrop of 20th century America,” and is based on a novel of the same name by author Wally Lamb.

This will be Ruffalo’s second television show, as he appeared in eight episodes of the series, The Beat, back in the early 2000s. This will be slightly different as Ruffalo is set to be the star of the series, as well as playing dual roles.

Ruffalo has proven himself a great actor, being nominated three times for an Academy Award. Hopefully, for his new series, Ruffalo can avoid revealing too much about the show, as he has become well-known for dropping spoilers for the MCU films he appears in. I like Ruffalo, I just can’t understand how he doesn’t understand what a spoiler is.
