This coming May marks the 10th anniversary of the release of Iron Man, and more importantly, the 10th anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It back in May of 2008 that this grand experiment was first launched, and Marvel Studios has since gone on to exceed virtually every expectation set…except for maybe Avengers: Age of Ultron.
But regardless of what minor issues I may personally have, there is no denying the importance of the shared universe that launched a thousand shared universes — none of which have been quite as successful. Given the landmark achievement of 10 years and 20 movies (by the end of the year), you know that Marvel Studios was going to be celebrating in style.

One Redditor managed to snag a look at eight new posters celebrating this occasion. Check them out below!
Interestingly enough, there doesn’t seem to be much rhyme or reason to which versions of the characters they’re utilizing. Iron Man looks to be from Iron Man 3, Cap from Civil War, Thor from Ragnarok, Black Widow from The Winter Soldier, Hulk from…yeah, who knows, right? Scarlet Witch from Civil War, Black Panther from his own movie, and Groot from…is that normal Groot? I think so.
In short, they look to be recycled assets, which makes me wonder how legit these truly are. Regardless, they’re kind of cool to look at.
