It is indeed a celebration of “The Good Night” for Mickey Mouse Funhouse.

In celebration of other cultures and traditions to little children, the animated series has an episode with the Disney characters introduced to the Latin traditions and food of Nochebuena.

This tradition occurs with the Latin and Filipino people worldwide on Christmas Eve and involves music, food, and activities.

In this episode, Panchito and Jose visit Goofy and the gang at the Mickey Mouse Funhouse to teach them about Nochebuena and its traditions. Goofy, however, is a bit hesitant and wants to stick with his traditions. But after learning about new holiday traditions like singing villancicos, making tamales de rajas, and fireworks, Goofy learns that other traditions also capture the spirit of Christmas.

The voice cast for Mickey Mouse Funhouse includes Bret Iwan, Kaitlyn Robrock, Tony Anselmo, Bill Farmer, Debra Wilson, and Harvey Guillen as Funny.

This special Nochebuena episode premieres on Friday, December 6, at 8:30 a.m. on Disney Jr. as part of the “Disney Jr.’s Magical Holidays” programming stunt. It will then be available on Disney+ starting Wednesday, December 11.

LRM Online has an exclusive clip from the episode for “Nochebuena” on Mickey Mouse Funhouse. In this clip, Panchito wants to teach the gang about making tamales de rajas. Goofy was initially hesitant about learning a new tradition but changed his mind to try this tradition.
