Morbius Runtime Revealed And It’s Another Short Movie From Sony

Rumored Reason Morbius Was Delayed

Morbius runtime revealed and it’s another fairly short movie from Sony. Venom: Let There Be Carnage was one of the shortest movies in years and certainly Sony’s sh9ortest superhero movie. Morbius isn’t quite as short as Venom 2 but it’s close. Morbius runtime is only 108 minutes, that’s 1 hour and 48 minutes for the mathematically challenged. That’s only 11 minutes more than Let There Be Carnage and bear in mind this will include credits as well. Meaning the actual runtime of the movie will be somewhere closer to just over 1.5 hours.

In information comes by way of two different theatre chains listings, those being Cinemark and Regal Cinemas.

It is of course possible these are slightly out, but if so it won’t be by much. We got similar information about Venom: Let There Be Carnage and that was 100% correct. From what I have been told Let There Be Carnage was just set up and fight, I hope Morbius has more going for it than that?

I actually think Morbius looks an interesting movie form the trailers. Though, in usual Sony fashion the trailer all seems to be edited in running order to the point where I sometimes feel like I’ve already watched the movie. Given how short the runtime is, maybe I have already seen too much of Morbius. It’s not a movie I had planned on hitting theatres for anyway. But unlike those Venom movies, I will probably watch Morbius once it hits a streaming service.

Do you think Sony are on to something with these shorter movies? Are audiences more likely to sit through an average movie under 2 hours than they are an average movie over tw9o hors? Is that the plan? Whatever your thoughts are, let us know what you think as Morbius runtime revealed in the usual place below.
