Schaal plays a character anmed Kelly who is, “A messenger from the future,” while Holland joins the film as, “The Great Leader, the most powerful person in the universe – the center of which is San Dimas, California, 700 years in the future.”
At the rate the film is adding cast members this may end up being the largest ever assembled. The cast already includes Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving as Bill and Ted’s daughters, as well as Jillian Bell and returning cast members William Sadler and Hal Landon Jr.

The long-awaited and long-gestating film aims to please folks such as myself who were the target audience for the first two films way back in the late 80s and early 90s. The film will follow middle-aged Bill and Ted who still haven’t fulfilled their destiny of writing the song that will unite humanity and bring peace to the world.
