The synopses have been revealed for Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, and Arrow for the episodes coming up in two weeks! Let’s start with The Flash, as it clarifies a rumor about if Jesse Quick will be killed by Grodd’s hands. This is not exactly a spoiler anymore because, well,it is in the synopsis and there is a listing on IMDB if the actress that plays Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) will be on the show. If you really do not want to know, skip over the first part. I’ll spread it out a bit so you can avoid it easier, but again, it’s not really a spoiler anymore.
The Flash – “Into the Speed Force”
BARRY TURNS TO THE SPEED FORCE – Desperate to stop Savitar and save his friends, Barry (Grant Gustin) turns to the speed force for answers. H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) gives Jesse (guest star Violett Beane) some advice. Gregory Smith directed the episode written by Brooke Roberts & Judalina Neira.
Ok, I love the Speedforce, and the more of it I can get the better. I still do not have a good feel of who Savitar is, and I assumed that Tom Felton being Dr. Alchemy was a red herring. I was wrong, so no guesses here.

Arrow – “Checkmate”
OLIVER SEEKS THE TRUTH — Oliver (Stephen Amell) gets closer to the truth about Prometheus. Meanwhile, Helix refuses to continue helping Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) until she does a favor for them. Ken Shane directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Sarah Tarkoff.
In the comics, Checkmate refers to a hierarchical organization, which at times has been associated with the Suicide Squad. For many years, it has been led by Maxwell Lord, who unfortunately is in Supergirl and is very underutilized. This could simply be Ollie giving back Prometheus a “treat,” and I will be highly upset if we find out that Prometheus is simply Justin Claybourne’s son.
Legends of Tomorrow – “Moonshot”
HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM — When the Legends track Commander Steel (guest star Matthew MacCaull) to NASA Headquarters in 1970, they learn where Nate’s (Nick Zano) grandfather hid the last fragment of the Spear of Destiny. The team notices a time aberration during the Apollo 13 mission and believes that the Legion of Doom might be involved. As the Legends journey into space to intercept Apollo 13, the Waverider suffers massive internal damage and Ray’s (Brandon Routh) life is left in jeopardy when he is stranded on the moon. Meanwhile, tension grows between Rip (Arthur Darvill) and Sara (Caity Lotz) as to who is the leader of the team. Victor Garber, Franz Drameh, Maisie Richarson-Sellers and Dominic Purcell also star. Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree.
The main thing I get from this synopsis is “tension grows between Rip (Arthur Darvill) and Sara (Caity Lotz) as to who is the leader of the team.” Does that refer to Rip being back to full heroic form, or has he convinced the team that the Waverider is his and everyone else can “shove off”?
We have some exciting CW shows too look forward to, what do you guys think?
