Some Star Wars news as the upcoming nad highly-anticipated Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi has added actress Indira Varma to the cast. Varma has a long list of roles including Carnival Row and Silk. Though she is best known for playing Ellaria Sand in Game of Thrones.

Varma is a fine addition to the cast here in my opinion. And hopefully, it won’t be too long before we receive some information on who she is playing. This is the first news we’ve heard since the series’ official title was revealed along with confirmation of Hayden Christensen returning as Darth Vader.

One other thing that is known about the series is it will be one season. I would say that isn’t likely to change. It could be argued that it may extend beyond one season depending on its popularity, However, I think the show being popular is a foregone conclusion.

There are plenty of projects for Star Wars fans to be excited about on the way to Disney+, but this my personal number one. Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, along with John Williams’ score was the highlight of the prequel films. I don’t have as many issues with Christensen in those films as a lot of fans do.  Though I am very excited at Christensen having a chance at redemption with a good deal of the fan base.
