One of the most significant shifts in streaming services is showcasing more Korean shows and dramas. And it has been quite a success for Hulu as it gains a new audience.
Hulu (Disney+ in Asia) announced the lovable star of Parasite Song Kangho is cast as the lead in the 16-episode period drama set in the 1960s.
Although Song Kangho may be recognizable in the United States as the father in Bong Joon Ho’s Parasite, he frequently collaborated with the famed director on Memories of Murder, The Host, and Snowpiercer. And those are very good movies if you haven’t watched them.
He will star alongside Byun Yohan, another known Korean actor who starred in the series Yungnyong-I Nareusya and Misaeng.
