I don’t think it comes to the surprise of anyone that Disney has another live-action film in the works. They’ve been doing this for around a decade or so, and the films that have failed them have been few and far in between. So, it was only a matter of time until we got an adaptation of their animated classic Peter Pan. But, who would be playing the roles of these characters?

The folks over at The Illuminerdi are reporting that Birds of Prey star Margot Robbie has been offered the role of Tinker Bell. Of course, Tinker Bell is Peter Pan’s pixie sidekick and was characterized in the film by her somewhat vain and jealous attitude. Of course, she’s changed over the years as Disney has utilized her in her own brand.

As far as how Tinker Bell is characterized in this new movie, based on a character breakdown, it sounds like she’ll lean more to the logical side of things.

“Peter’s partner-in-crime and voice of reason with the voice of a million tiny bells, Tink helps the Darlings avoid danger during their Neverland adventure. When Peter, the Darlings, and/or the Lost Boys are in trouble, she uses her magical powers to save the day.”
