America Chavez is making her way into the MCU.

Avengers: Endgame was the end of a big era in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, in spite of the fact that we saw two of our main heroes saying farewell, there were still a number of legacy characters set to continue their stories going forward. But that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t begin laying the groundwork for the Avengers world to come. They’d already hinted at Spider-Man becoming a major player going forward, but as we know, the MCU is much better than the webslinger. In fact, given his precarious legal standings, it has to be.

Ms. Marvel is not only getting her own show, but is rumored to be appearing in Captain Marvel, we are getting a new Black Widow, and we have a whole new squad of supers hitting with Eternals. But Marvel Studios isn’t stopping there.

According to The Direct, there is an official casting grid from Marvel Studios that will introduce a fairly new character. I’m talking about America Chavez, who goes on to use the moniker Miss America. She will supposedly be showing up in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Furthermore, she will be Puerto Rican, aged from 12 to 15. Very interestingly, this is a pretty new character, only having been introduced into the comics canon in 2011. This means she’s younger than the MCU itself, which is a bit odd to think about.

This isn’t the first we’ve heard of America Chavez in the Doctor Strange sequel. Back in January, The Illuminerdi heard the same thing. As such, you can consider this as a confirmation of sorts that, even after all these months, America Chavez seems like a real possibility. That being said, for someone who is supposed to be a real supporting character, age 12 to 15 is a pretty young.
