Some might say this was inevitable. Well, I know at least one someone who would, Thanos. During an episode of The Phase Zero podcast comics artist and writer Jim Starlin mentioned that the purple titan will have a cameo appearance in the upcoming Eternals film. You can check out exactly what he had to say below.
“I think they are they made a truck of money off him, and I believe I’ve heard some rumors that he’s coming back in different things. The first I think I’ve heard confirmed from Marvel Studios, he’s going to be, at least a guest appearance inside the Eternals so he’s going to be around.”

Starlin also made it clear he was not officially confirming anything.
I’m not overly familiar with the Eternals, or at least I wasn’t until the film was announced. Since then, I’ve learned a little bit, but still not sure how Thanos would factor in exactly. Having said that, the Eternals are, well, eternal. And have been around for quite some time so Thanos could have crossed paths with them at some point.
I really enjoyed Thanos and at times felt sympathy for him as he believed, for the most part, what he was doing was noble. While I think he could have went about things in a different manner, once he completed his mission he destroyed the Infinity Stones. This showed he wasn’t all villain as he could have kept them and used their power for more nefarious reasons.
