Ryan Reynolds Jokes About Disney-Fox Deal

Ever the jokester, actor and Twitter master Ryan Reynolds once again took to his account and weighed in on the potential deal between Disney and 21st Century Fox.

The deal would involve Rupert Murdoch selling most of the company to Disney, allowing Marvel Studios to reobtain the rights to some of their characters, including the X-Men and the Fantastic Four, as well as Reynolds’ Deadpool.

Not really the image I wanted burned into my mind, thanks Ryan. The potential deal between the studios brings with it so many possibilities. If the deal does indeed go through, fans would finally get to see characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on screen with their long estranged extended family, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four.

While Fox has done well with the X-Men, the fans and the Fantastic Four deserve a far better adaptation than the films that were produced, and if anyone can do it, it is Disney/Marvel. I really want this deal to go through, it be huge for the House of Mouse and make them an even bigger box office juggernaut than they already are. Disney will soon be our overlords and rule the world anyway, we might as well help them to accomplish this as quickly as possible to gain favor with them. Resistance is futile.
