Shazam! – New Official Image Shows Shazam And Freddy Freeman

While it hasn’t been made official, there have been rumors of the trailer for DC’s Shazam! dropping this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con. Earlier today we were treated to some low quality leaked footage that showed us our first bit of action from the film. Now we give you the second officially released image from DC’s next big effort. This latest image shows Zachary Levi’s Shazam doing a bit of recharging with his best friend, Freddy Freeman. And what else does the image exude? Fun. Again, this fil is thoghtmy many to be a change in tone from the darker films in the DC extended universe that fans have seen up to this point. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that as well as a trailer for Aquaman, we also get a teaser for Shazam!.

Shazam! stars Zachary Levi has Shazam, Mark Strong as the film’s villain, Dr. Thaddeus Sirvana, Asher Angel as the child version of Shazam, Billy Batson, and Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, and Djimon Hounsou as the wizard. The film is directed by Savid F. Sandberg from a screenplay co-written by Henry Gayden and Darren Lemke
