My guess is that most of our readers will be most interested in the news about Across the Spider-Verse. The first Spider-Verse animated movie was incredibly popular among comic book fans and MCU fans alike. I’ll also guess that most of readers couldn’t give two hoots about Sony’s live-action movies like Madame Web. However someone must be watching those movies, so perhaps I am self projecting there a little?

As for The Equalizer, despite the name I never really got any Equalizer vibes from these movies, and we now have a successful TV series rebooted with the same rough premise as the original show. The Equalizer movies are decent, don’t get me wrong, I just don’t know why they had to call them that, as the connections are slim outside of the main character’s name.
Chris Miller, one of the producers of Across the Spider-Verse also posted this on social media regarding the announced delays.
