Fans have been going gaga for any news of a Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer. I think this third Spider-Man outing in the MCU is the most hyped MCU movie since Endgame amongst fans. It’s rabid, and the many leaks and rumors are just adding to the mystique of No Way Home. If you’re somehow new to this leaks game, then there has been a ton of rumors from reliable insiders. The nature of those rumors, mixed with the little hard evidence we have points to a big movie. Namely that supposedly this will be a live-action Spider-Verse of sorts. The villains are rumored to be everyone that Spider-Man has faced across all movies so far, From Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin and on.
Though perhaps the most intriguing aspect of the rumors is that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire will appear as their Peter Parker’s again on screen. Yup, it’s fair to say Marvel fans are hyped.
Tomorrow see’s the birthday of Tom Holland. There have been some vague rumors that Sony might drop a No Way Home trailer that day. The movie is set for release this December, so if there was such a trailer, I think we’d only be talking teaser for now. Since those initial rumors the trailer drop has gained some steam. Though, nothing to hang your hat on for the moment it has to be said. There has been increased activity though on various official No Way Home social media accounts though. That could be indicative of an imminent news drop.

According to DisInsider‘s Skyler Shuler though, the theatres have a cut of the trailer already. Check it out.

Now, Shuler does get some inside information at times, but also the odd ones that are just wrong. This doesn’t at the moment feel like much of an inside source. ‘A buddy that works at the theatres said this…’ That’s a line used by a lot of fakers right there. Yet, at the same time we’ve had some genuine trailer information before from those working in theatres, so it’s hard to say?
I’ll believe it when Daniel Richtman says its happening. I don’t want to big up Richtman too much as his leak hit rate is generally 50/50. However when it comes to Sony trailers, his hit rate is second to none right now. Richtman called the No Way Home title reveal and the Venom 2 trailer first, and both checked out. So far Richtman is not telling us to watch for a No Way Home trailer this week. Until he does, or it drops out the blue, I’d keep a pinch worthy amount of salt handy.
