SPOILER seen in Hawkeye Episode 3? Of course to discuss more I need to get into what happened in today’s release of Hawkeye Episode 3. Therefore If you have yet to watch the episode for yourself, I suggest you take a look first before reading further.
SPOILERS for Hawkeye Episode 3 Below!
By now I’m sure everyone has heard about the rumors Vincent D’Onofrio might show up in the MCU for the first time in Hawkeye. It is further rumored that the actor will have a bigger role in the Echo spin-off series coming to Disney+. So far the D’Onofrio hasn’t done a great job of hiding his involvement but I’m guessing that may be impossible after Episode 3. Early in the episode Maya (Echo) gets a rather sweet little backstory. We only see events from Maya’s PoV and as such when she is told her Uncle will take her from her Judo class we only see a black suit, a hand and a small chuckle.

However, if you know Vincent D’Onofrio, you may not be able to judge by the hand, but the chuckle was unmistakable. At least to me, and about a million other Marvel fanboys and fangirls. The suit was also classic Wilson Fisk, but it’s the chuckle that seals the deal for me. Whilst not ‘officially’ revealed yet, I think it’s safe to say the rumors were true.
Uncle is Wilson Fisk, whom we know is also Kingpin. Kingpin is back in the MCU after all folks. The leakers out there certainly got this one right. And It’s a good lesson to learn about trades. None covered the D’Onofrio rumors, and yet I guarantee every one of them knew he was in it. I’ll leave that with you.
There are rumors, that D’Onofrio may be fully revealed in Episode 4 of the show next Wednesday. I won’t say if that’s the case or not, but I think there’s a very strong chance this will be the case. Could Kingpin actually be the man behind the Tracksuit Mafia, Armand, Jack, and even Kate’s mom? I guess we will find out soon enough.
