As far as Star Wars, Disney’s efforts on the big and little screens are hit and miss with me, but another aspect of the franchise, the park attractions, I think Disney is absolutely on point. While I’m yet to experience them myself, I’ve watched a few youtube videos and heard from fellow LRM contributors with first-hand knowledge.

The effort that Disney has put into bringing a galaxy far, far to life away is impressive. From the planet of Batuu in Galaxy’s Edge, the Millennium Falcon ride, ‘Smuggler’s Run,’ to ‘Rise of the Resistance,’ which looks to be one of the most immersive experiences ever created for a theme park.

Next on the Mouse’s list is a Star Wars-themed hotel called Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. There’s a video above where you learn that your stay also comes with a mission. A description of the hotel can be found below.

“Reservations will open later this year for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, which debuts in 2021 at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. This new two-day and two-night vacation is an all-immersive experience that will take you to a galaxy far, far away in a way that only Disney could create.”

The imagineers are wonderful and have been providing us with amazing experiences for years now, but the new Star Wars attractions appear to take it to a whole new level.
