The big ones left for 2019 include Netflix’s Stranger Things, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and of course Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Fans have known for some time that Mark Hamill is in the film, even though his iconic Luke Skywalker character faded away at the end of Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi.
The question remained in what form will Luke Skywalker be appearing? The most common and likely answer appears to have turned out to be true, if Mark Hamill comments to AP Entertainment are to be taken as truth. You can check the Tweet below.

A text version of the goods follow below.
“I sure hope so. (laughs) Well, because…I had closure in the last one. The fact that I’m involved in any capacity is only because of that peculiar aspect of the Star Wars mythology where if you’re a Jedi, you get to come back and make a curtain call as a Force ghost.”
Well, can’t say that I am surprised by this news, even though I was kind of hoping for a Gandalf-type situation. Luke returning as a Force Ghost was always the most plausible option. So, he will likely have a few minutes of screentime, and perhaps a kick ass flashback, of course, this is just me speculating.
