Superman Was Originally Unhinged In Justice League

While Justice League was a fun movie for what it was, it does have numerous issues, and perhaps the biggest overall is that it feels like it was thrown together in haste just to have an answer for Marvel’s Avengers films. As we have continued to do since the film’s release, today we learn an interesting bit of information of what could have been. While appearing on the Comic Book Debate Podcast, Jay Olivia, an artist on Justice League, spoke about how Superman was originally intended to

“I did from the time they arrived to the nuclear reactor all the way to the end of the fight. There’s a couple stuff that when I watched the film I was like, ‘Well, what happened to that?’ because I was really looking forward to seeing it because I’ve done some crazy stuff. I tried to top what I’ve done with Superman. When Superman comes back, I had done some really crazy stuff like Superman unhinged.”

Superman unhinged is a frightening thought. I will assume he would be something like Superman when he is exposed to red kryptonite. Of course he likely would have become his old boy scout self at some point, but it would have been interesting to see raging Superman.

Is an unhinged Superman something you would have liked to see? Let us know in the comments down below!
