Description Of The Two Venom Credit Scenes

This Friday, we will all have a chance to watch Tom Hardy as the titular character in Venom. While the film has angered some fans for not honoring the character’s traditional origin, the film will keep with the modern tradition of credit scenes. You can check out a description of the scenes below. PLease note what some consider spoilers follows below.

  • Stinger 1 (mid-credits): Eddie goes to San Quentin for his exclusive interview with Cletus Kasady played by Woody Harrelson. Harrelson wears a wig and looks like Pennywise without the clown make up on. He asks Eddie if he wants to hear about him being a serial killer. If he wants to hear the carnage.
  • Stinger 2 (post-credits): “Meanwhile, in another Spider-Verse…” and it’s a preview of Into the Spider-Verse.

The first scene is of course opening the door for a potential sequel, while also introducing us to the character of Carnage. For those that aren’t familiar with Carnage, the character is another symbiote, who has been used by Woody Harrelson’s Cletus Kasady, as well as Norman Osborn and his grandson.

Who knows what Sony may have up their sleeve, I sincerely hope Venom and a potential shared universe from the studio will surprise us all.
