Temuera Morrison wants Mace Windu revenge for Boba Fett. Promoting the currently airing The Book of Boba Fett, Morrison and co-star Ming-Na Wen were interviewed by IMDb’s On The Scene. Morrison and Wen were asked how Fett and Shand would deal with various villains, like Vader, Kylo Ren etc? Then they were shown an image of Mace Windu as played by Samuel L. Jackson in the PT.
“I owe him big time for my dad. He’s done, he’s done, I’ve got my eye on him. He’s top of the list, in fact.”
“Revenge” joined in Ming-Na Wen, “slow torture”.
“Definitely, yes.” replied Morrison.
“Being a young teenager, fatherless, he had to make his own way. So yeah, he’s got a few chips on his shoulders, all right,” Morrison said. “I think we better let Jon Favreau know that we should have another series and looking for Mace.”
Now before all the Mace Windu Lives conspiracy theorists come out in satisfaction, let’s point out this confirms nothing. Morrison is very likely not even aware yet if there will be a second season of The Book of Boba Fett. If he does, he’s also potentially unaware if there are any plans to bring back Mace Windu. I think this is more Morrison having fun playing in character. Though I’m sure he’d jump at the chance to avenge himself, er, his father in a Season 2 if he gets the chance.

However for all we know, he’ll mention this to Jon Favreau who will say, ‘nah, that’s not where this story is going’. Then again, why not? No body means there is always a chance Mace could return, though with one less hand than he had before. Though why would he not have sought out Yoda, or tried to take out Vader or Sidious? There is also the fact that most fans believe someone must have rescued Grogu from the Jedi Temple. I don’t lean either way on Windu, it’s possible he’s dead, it’s possible he’s alive. Let’s just wait and see what happens.
