Texas Chainsaw Massacre Teaser Poster: Leatherface Is Back

Leatherface without a doubt is an iconic horror character. He first appeared in 1974’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. For those of you that are unfamiliar with the character, he is a mentally unstable man that would help his family kidnap, murder, and cook travelers that got too close. His name of course has to do with the fact that he wears masks that are made out of his victim’s faces. His character wouldn’t be complete without his signature weapon, the chainsaw. Since then he has terrified audiences for years. Now he is ready to make his return to the big screen in 2021.

Yesterday was the debut of the Call of Duty seasonal event called The Haunting of Verdansk. This features not only Leatherface but Saw’s puppet Billy. Over the weekend a trailer was released and in it was a special Easter egg. This directed viewers to the website, TexasChainsaw.com where they were surprised with an exclusive tease of the one and only Leatherface on a poster from Legendary Entertainment. There, fans can enter their e-mail to receive the motion teaser poster and a code redeemable for an exclusive Call of Duty calling card. You can check out the poster below!

It is a very cool looking teaser poster. To be honest, Texas Chainsaw films have always made me uncomfortable and I can’t really pinpoint why. But yet I have watched them all. This next film will be no different. It will be interesting to see the take of this character in this day and age. Are you looking forward to another Leatherface film? Let us know in the comment section below!

The new Texas Chainsaw Massacre from Legendary Pictures will haunt theaters sometime in 2021.
