This past weekend saw The Batman, after all these years of development, finally get in front of cameras. As we previously reported, actor Jeffrey Wright, who plays Commissioner Gordon in the film, shared that production had begun. It didn’t take long for set photos to surface from locals who saw some Gotham-labeled props for all of us to enjoy, but that wasn’t all.
Twitter user Wade Gravett has a whole bunch of images, and one set features a man on a bike. It’s really hard to tell thanks to the image quality and how far Gravett was from, but it’s very possible it shows us our first look at Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne.

Can confirm 100% as he never revealed his face but is this Robert…..!? 🦇 pic.twitter.com/MX90S7bqol

Full disclosure: I’m not Robert Pattinson expert — I know, huge surprise — so it could be a double who’s a really great match for the star, but that one close-up image above really does seem to look an awful lot like Pattinson, and that essentially makes this the first unofficial look at him as Bruce.
If so, Bruce looks to be looking pretty badass on his motorcycle, riding through the streets of London for some reason. We obviously don’t know the context, but I dig his practical attire.
