The Battle Continues! Cobra Kai Season 5 Trailer Out Now

Netflix has released the Cobra Kai Season 5 Date Announcement trailer and it looks badass! We have a long wait to September 9, but with this show, it’s worth it.

Following the shocking results of the All Valley Tournament, Terry Silver is expanding the Cobra Kai empire and trying to make his “No Mercy” style of karate the only game in town. With Kreese behind bars and Johnny Lawrence setting karate aside to focus on repairing the damage he’s caused, Daniel LaRusso must call on an old friend for help.

The Trailer

We get a recap at the beginning of the trailer, then Terry Silver shares his plan to spread Cobra Kai across the Valley. I still don’t understand why Silver likes to torture kids, but with Chozen returning, lets hope team Miyagi can stop him. Johnny and Robby are on a road trip to bring back Miguel. I hope that goes well, but knowing Johnny, things will probably get a little messy. Then, we see Tory and Sam. I wonder if Tory will be struggling with a little “I won, now what?” or maybe a crisis on morals. She went from a kid who might end up in jail to one who wanted to make better choices. She stopped fighting dirty off and on the mat and won The All Valley Championship. At the end of season 4, Sam started breaking away from dad’s way and finding her own so how will that work out for her?

The cast will be returning. Although, we didn’t get a chance to see Martin Kove (Kreese) in the trailer. Season 6 hasn’t been greenlit, but I would love for the fight to keep going. Executive producer, Jon Hurwitz, shared with Collider that there isn’t a set season count so we’ll have to wait to find out.
