The Falcon and the Winter Soldier to finish up this fall?

While many of us in the United States are still battening down the hatches, many countries in the E.U. are starting to get back to normal. However, as you may also know, the E.U. will effectively be barring Americans from traveling there. This puts a damper on production for lots of big-budget features and series set in various locations. This doesn’t sound like it will be a problem for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

This latest rumor comes courtesy of Murphy’s Multiverse, who is pulling info from an unspecified trade report. According to the outlet, the Czech Republic is offering film crews an exemption on the E.U. ban. Because of that, this gives the Disney+ series an opportunity to actually finish its production. This comes after months of them not being able to complete anything thanks to COVID-19.

The outlet continues to state that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s production will head to Prague for a nine-day shoot this coming fall. Sadly, we don’t know when exactly “fall” is, but it does at least indicate that things could very well be wrapping up soon for that particular series. 

As far as when we can actually expect The Falcon and the Winter Soldier to hit Disney+…we can only guess. There have been rumors we’ve covered that point to the first half of the series airing as planned this August, with the second half airing next year. We have no idea if that is true, but if they are aiming for a fall production finish, we do know they can’t possibly air it all this year.

Regardless, this does look like a show that will end very soon, and fans will finally get to see what Sam and Bucky are up to following Avengers: Endgame. Are you excited to see The Falcon and the Winter Soldier finishing up this fall? Sound off down below!
