The First Reactions To Incredibles 2 Are In, And They Are…Incredible!

It has been 14 years since fans last seen everyone’s favorite animated superhero family, The Incredibles, but now fans are just a week away from the release of the highly anticipated sequel, Incredibles 2. Some folks who are lucky enough to have attended an advanced screening of the film have posted their initial reactions to the film on Twitter, you can check out the posts below:

These reactions should provide some comfort for fans who may have been worried about a sequel damaging the original film’s legacy. It’s also nice to hear, though not at all surprising that Michael Giacchino once again delivered an excellent score. The film focuses on Helen Paar, perhaps better known as Elastigirl, and her efforts to save the world, while her husband, Mr. Incredible, stays home to care for Jack-Jack.

Brad Bird who wrote and directed the original film is back to perform both duties for the sequel. Returning for the new film is most of the original cast including Craig T. Nelson as Mr. Incredible, Helen Hunt as Elastigirl, Sarah Vowell as Violet Parr and Samuel L. Jackson as Frozone.

Being a huge fan of the original film, Incredibles 2 had my money from the first trailer, but these reactions have done much to reassure me.
