The Sanderson Sisters Are Back In A Haunting Hocus Pocus 2 Trailer | D23 2022

Hocus Pocus 2, one of the most highly anticipated Halloween sequels is ready to make its debut at the end of September on Disney+. It has been 29 years since the 17th-century sisters have been resurrected, so they are out for revenge. The classic 1993 film has become quite the cult classic among fans, becoming a must-watch for many during the spooky October season. Fans will now be able to add this sequel to their list as it reunites Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy.

At D23 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, the trailer for the spooky tale of these three infamous witches was revealed. You can check it out below!

The trailer for Hocus Pocus 2 looks like fun. It will be interesting to see how diehard fans of the classic film will treat this film. Will they be highly critical of its direction picking at every detail? Or will they enjoy it for its current take on the Sanderson sisters? One thing that is a real shame about this film is that it won’t be available to see in theaters.

This is one of those films (along with Disenchated) that may not be blockbusters, but have enough of a following to make some noise at the box office. I feel this is a missed opportunity for a studio giant like Disney to help out theaters that have supported them for decades. It won’t be the same level of enjoyment.
