What a long strange trip it’s been. There was a time when many fans knew the now fabled alternate version of Justice League, better known as Snyder Cut, didn’t exist. The better part of three years later and it looks like the Bigfoot of the superhero film world may just be real after all. Check out these excerpts from DCEU Mythic.

There’s some back and forth, and a little bit of this mixed with a little bit of that. Here’s what may be going on, according to the outlet.

“Last month, both FandomWire and The Illuminerdi ran stories citing a source at Warner Brothers who said there was no deal in place for the Snyder Cut at HBO Max. I can confirm what they based those stories off of, as I saw the email message too. An unnamed source at WB was telling people “off the record” that there was no deal in place. Either at the time there was no deal, or they were just trying to deflect. “

Don’t fret, the plot thickens. More from DCEU Mythic:

“Earlier in the week, Heroic Hollywood reported that Snyder screened a version of his assembly cut for Warner Brothers. That kind of backs up the FandomWire report that says WB met with Snyder about the cut, which they claimed would cost about $20 million to finish (including new filming). And now multiple reliable sources are saying something is coming, but no one can agree on what form it’ll be, although whatever it turns out to be will stream on HBO Max.“

Here’s the obligatory grain of salt, but if you ask me, strange things are afoot at the Circle K. Things are starting to add up and with Snyder’s upcoming events such as the Man of Steel screening and the hashtag #PausedNotStopped, it does indeed seem as if something is coming.

This is somewhat surreal. From non-existent to corroborating rumors signaling a release. While I’m hearing it may not be exactly what the had hoped for, the believers of the Zach Snyder version of Justice League have fought long and hard and their glory seems to be within their grasp.
