The Wheel of Time. I’m not familiar with the series, but I’ve heard it has the potential to be a phenomenon on the level of Game of Thrones. Today brings with it some casting news for the upcoming television adaptation that is set to air on Amazon.

The roles of Marin and Bran al’Vere, Cenn Buie, Daise Conger, as well as Abell and Natti Cauthon. The news comes from The Wheel of Time on Prime Twitter account. You can check out who was cast in what role below.

Looking around the Internet while writing this article, I believe I took in enough to see the draw of the series. I will definitely be watching this series when it debuts in 2021. The way the series handles ‘magic’ and the setting being simultaneously a distant future and distant past, well, has me intrigued, to say the least.

I have a close friend who is a book reader and tries to keep me up to on what the next big fantasy adaptation could be. He holds Wheel of Time in very high regard, along with a series called The Kingkiller Chronicle. Game of Thrones kicked down the door for fantasy as we have Wheel of Time and a Lord of the Rings series coming to Amazon. The above mentioned The Kingkiller Chronicle has had some issues on its way from page to screen, but it should make it here eventually.
