These Vampire Films Don’t Suck (Had To Be Done) | LRM Ranks It

Welcome to the LRM Ranks It Podcast where we go deeper into our lists of favorite movies, TV shows, video games, and more. This is where you’ll get the in-depth analysis of the subjects covered in the YouTube videos in a more portable fashion. Listen in your car, at the gym, or while pretending to work!

This week Kyle and Brian discuss their favorite vampire films!

Vampire films have been around since Nosferatu came to the silent screen in 1922. Long before that, tales of blood-sucking fiends (yes we know about the movie with a similar title) were part of the fabric of human myths and legends. These stories have led to the creation of some of horror’s best films, many TV shows and Anime, great video games, and countless comics and novels. From Dracula to Angel and Alucard to Blade there’s a vampire for everyone!

Speaking of Angel, the blood feasting undead have gone from creatures of terror to creatures of romance in the last couple of decades. Gross, right? Have no fear though, we have a list of great vampire films that’ll leave you lifeless on the couch… not sure if that’s a good thing, but we’re running with it.

P.S. While most vampire stories with human/vamp romances are evil in their own right, Buffy the Vampire Slayer was AWESOME!
