RBG is one of the coolest and well known Supreme Court justices in history.
However, before Ruth Bader Ginsburg sits on the U.S. Supreme Court, she was one of the most intriguing lawyers in the courtroom.
On The Basis of Sex is based on the true story that follows the young lawyer Ruth Bader Ginsburg, as she teams up with her husband Marty to overturn a century of gender discrimination before the U.S. Court of Appeals.
The film stars Felicity Jones as Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Other cast members include Armie Hammer, Justin Theroux, Kathy Bates, Sam Waterston, Jack Reynor and Cailee Spaeny.
It is directed by Mimi Leder (Deep Impact, The Leftovers) and written by Daniel Stiepleman.
On The Basis of Sex will be in select theaters on December 25 later this year, which celebrates her 25th anniversary on the Supreme Court.
