Just in case watching Kevin Conroy deliver the final speech from That Dark Knight wasn’t enough to blow your mind this morning, we also have the music video for ‘Guardians’ Inferno,’ the original song written for the end credits of Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2.
While it’s really just a commercial for the home video release of the film, it’s hard to find a better commercial for such an event. Alien: Covenant is already out on digital platforms, with a Blu-ray release coming, and certainly isn’t delivering anything special like this! Though, really, it would be odd if they did…
You’ve got just as much ’80s goodness as you can handle, complete with mustaches and David Hasselhoff. Add to that a good portion of the cast including Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Pom Klementieff, Michael Rooker, and Zoe Saldana, and baby, you’ve got a groove goin’. Also keep an eye out for Guillermo del Toro and Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn. There’s even a very special Marvel cameo and an appearance from another Guardian at the end, but I’ll leave that for you to enjoy!
The video was directed by David Yarovesky and will appear as a special feature on the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Blu-ray, available August 22. The movie is available to download this Tuesday, the 8th, on digital platforms.
