According to the latest Barside Buzz we have an X-Men 97′ Disney+ release window rumored finally. So when might we see this 90’s revival? The latest information comes courtesy of The Cosmic Circus who have a very good hit rate for Marvel leaks.
The outlet says the following;
‘Our sources have confirmed that Marvel Studios has decided on a spring release window for this new Marvel/Disney+ series. Our sources have told us that X-Men ’97 season 1 will premiere in mid to late March 2024. The show is confirmed to have ten episodes releasing for the first season.’
X-Men 97′ is a continuation of the 90’s X-Men: The Animated Series which was very popular, but ultimately cancelled. This offers Marvel the chance to finish this story and probably promote the team. Back in 97′ X-Men were by far the most popular comic characters for older kids and that’s in part due to this popular animated series. This therefore could generate some hype for the eventual X-Men reboot that will happen within the MCU.

Where possible the old voice cast are returning, though that is not always sadly possible. As such here are the brand new cast members voicing characters in the revival. The new cast includes Ray Chase as Cyclops, Catherine Disher as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, Chris Potter as Gambit, Lenore Zann as Rogue , George Buza as Beast , Holly Chou as Jubilee , Adrian Hough as Nightcrawler, Christopher Britton as Mr. Sinister , Matthew Waterson as Magneto , Gui Agustini as Sunspot.
I was a fan of X-Men: TAS myself growing up, so I’m looking forward to this one. Let’s hope as per the rumor we are watching this on Disney+ by the end of March.
