Perhaps the biggest superhero movie ever, Avengers: Infinity War, is less than 10 days away. With the plethora of characters and heroes appearing in the film, one of the film’s directors, Joe Russo (who co-directed with his brother Anthony) spoke with Digital Spy and confirmed that there will be lots of good stuff on the home release, such as deleted scenes (and hopefully featurettes), you know, the stuff nerds like us love:
“We were very tight with the scripts on Winter Soldier and Civil War, so there weren’t a lot of extras. This is a very big movie with a lot of characters in it, and we played around with a lot of improvisation, because we had new chemistry that we were defining between characters. It was the first time ever that all these characters were on screen together, so we played around with quite a bit of footage, and I think there will be some good stuff for the DVD.”

Any fans into the other side of film, the process of how it’s made should love this, I happen to be one of those fans. As far as the film itself, I don’t see how it can disappoint. Most everyone who has appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe up to this point will be in the film, not to mention it being brought to us by the same guys who delivered some of the best entries into the MCU in Captain America: Civil War and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Avengers; Infinity War will be here to destroy box-office records April 27.
