DC Executive And Comic Book Artist Jim Lee Creates A Gorgeous Drawing Of Robert Pattinson’s Batman

After overcoming more obstacles than any other film in recent memory, the filming of Matt Reeves’ The Batman is nearly complete. This time around the Dark Knight will be played by Robert Pattinson, or Battinson as I like to call him.

What many geeks would call an honor was bestowed upon this latest iteration of the character, as the super-talented artist Jim Lee, who is now the Chief Creative Officer over at DC Comics, put to paper a magnificent piece of artwork featuring the Battinson. I have a particular set of skills. I can play multiple instruments. I wield some absolutely lethal wit, in fact, I once nearly killed a man with it. In self-defense, I sent a most deadly one-liner at someone who, unprovoked, tried to as our own Cam Clark would say, ‘Take the piss.” A bystander then fell down and rolled on the floor silently laughing for several minutes until he nearly suffocated.

Oh, and I can beat anyone, John Tobias, Ed Boon.

Any. One.

At the original Mortal Kombat as long as it’s on an authentic arcade machine. And lastly, what I truly excel at, is staying humble.

However, one thing I cannot do and it blows my mind to see others do it is draw. Well, I can’t draw like Jim Lee anyway,  The way these artists display their skills, all I can say is gentlemen, I be placed in bewilderment. Truly f***ing amazing.

If you’ve seen the trailer you’re aware this Batman is going to be different to say the least. And if for some reason you haven’t seen the trailer, I will put it at the bottom of the article. Two attributes that stand out are how he almost seemed to enjoy beating the random Gotham City thug into the pavement. As well as the look of the batsuit. While previous batsuits were all different, they were all sort of the same. Pattinson’s is very distinct, especially the cowl. And Jim Lee captured Battinson with what I can only assume is his hand camera.

DC came to play this time.
