However, I will instead share one of the sources I actually use to judge the leakers with the best hit rates. So let’s have a look at how all the leakers faired in their scoops for Deadpool & Wolverine shall we?

Whenever a new movie or show comes out from the MCU, the subreddit r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers runs a tier accuracy update. I’ve just never shared any of it before on LRM. The users over there will go back through all the old rumors for a project and then judge which ones were correct or not. Now I would warn, that for me some of the earlier scoops can be marked as incorrect when we really don’t know. What if something changed before final release for example? Therefore I tend to also have my own system that I add on top of what I read elsewhere.

Still, this is hopefully worth looking at for our readers. I always read these when they pop up on the sub. Since it’s a slower news day as we wait for D23, I figured… why not? CWGST: Claims 21 – true 14 – false 7 – accuracy = 66.7%

Daniel RPK: Claims 21 – true 13 – false 4 – accuracy = 71.4% (+ 4 unconfirmed)

Alex P from TCC: Claims 13 – true 9 – false 4 – accuracy 69.2%

CrypticHDQuality: Claims 9 – true 9 – false 0 – accuracy = 100%

MTTSH: Claims 20 – true 8 – false 12 – accuracy = 40%

Chares Murphy: Claims 3 – true 2 – accuracy = 83% (+ 1 unconfirmed)

KCWalsh: Claims 2 – false 2 – accuracy 0%

TCC (Not from Alex P): Claims 1 – true 1 – accuracy = 100%

GFR: Claims 1 – true 1 – accuracy = 100%

Scarlet Witch Updates: (Twitter): Claims 1 – true 1 – accuracy = 100%

Now, some of those are one rumor and 100% and that does happen from time to time. Also don’t be too harsh on the 0% club as none are prolific leakers. We hear at LRM sometimes get the odd rumor, even though we are not a leaks site.

Regular readers know the names of most of the regular leakers in that list. Those are the sources we tend to cover. I think the most dramatic fall from grace for this movie is MTTSH. However, you also have to look at some of the context of her scoops. Some of them, that were right, were pretty big. There are also some wrong claims that she later redacted after finding better information.

If nothing else, I hope this gives you an insight into how to judge the accuracy of leakers. For me, anything above 70% is gold, and above 50% is still someone worth covering. I’m on the fence with covering MTTSH going forward. You readers can let me know below whether you think we should continue to cover her leaks or wait till her accuracy is improved. After all, I already read all these, we try to give you a place where you can be safe knowing we only share the top leaks and rumors.
