The Office has been in the news over the last week or so due to the series moving from its longtime streaming home, Netflix, to NBC Universal’s Peacock platform. With the move came a big bunch of extra content, a lot of it rarely seen along with some never-before-seen footage.
While there has been talk and rumors about both an Office Reunion and reboot, nothing has been officially confirmed on either front. Though showrunner of the beloved sitcom, Greg Daniels, isn’t counting out the possibility of at least one of those ideas. Daniels recently spoke with Collider and was asked if a reboot is currently in development.
“No but it’s not impossible. It’s not impossible for sure. I would want to be involved, and I’ve got two other shows I’m working on right now.”

Fair enough. Daniels seems to be busy at the moment but appears to be at least somewhat excited by the prospect of rebooting the day-to-day activities of The Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. If reboot, I would certainly give it a shot. I just hope it would be worthy of the original series(I know the series is an American remake, but).
Daniels is currently tied up with Upload and Space Force, the latter reunites him with Office alum, Steve Carell. Perhaps in the not-so-distant future, Dunder Mifflin will open it’s doors once again.
