Paul Bettany Doesn’t Have A Contract To Return In The MCU As White Vision

At the end of WandaVision, we were left with one Vision. Though the Vision we had grown to love throughout the series had to be let go by Wanda, White Vision persevered.

This is the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so of course we all expect White Vision to return in the future.

That being said, actor Paul Bettany is unsure if or when he will return to the MCU. When asked by The Playlist if it was comforting to know that he would work again with Elizabeth Olsen aka Wanda in the future, Paul Bettany answered:

Oh no, no. I don’t have a contract. I don’t know that. I don’t know that at all. And all that I do know is, as far as this sort of traunch of press goes, it’s for an Emmy push, which is for a limited series. So it doesn’t look like that happening again. I mean, I guess it would be difficult to introduce White Vision and not deal with him in some way, but we have not discussed that.

See? Bettany gets it.

He may not have a contract now, but a universe that introduces a character like White Vision only not to pay him off does not sound like the MCU I know and love.

It’s hard to guess when we will see White Vision next. Will it be Armor Wars, a show about War Machine and Stark Tech? Will he be needed to detect a Skrull threat in Secret Wars? Will he be saved for the next Avengers adventure? Will it be a yet unannounced project? Only time will tell.

But, there will be White Vision eventually.
