Scoobynatural Behind-The-Scenes Featurette Takes You Through The Process

We’re just a few days away from what should prove to be an epic crossover, Scoobynatural. Yes, in case you haven’t heard the Winchester brothers from the long-running CW series, Supernatural, will be venturing into the cartoon world to join the Scooby gang for an episode. In the above video, you can check out what went into the making of the episode, in a really cool behind-the-scenes featurette.

As said in the video, I am surprised this idea hasn’t come up before. Some of the best Supernatural episodes are the one-offs, and meta episodes where the show pokes fun at themselves or television in general, the Season 5 episode “Changing Channels” and the Season 6 episode “The French Mistake” come to mind. This will mark the first time over the shows thirteen seasons that it has crossed over with another series, and in my opinion, there are none more perfect to do it with than Scooby-Doo. Even if you aren’t currently a fan of Supernatural, but are a fan of Scooby-Doo (I mean who isn’t, right?), this episode could still be a lot of fun and may turn you on to a new show.

I binged the first two seasons of the show way back, and was able to jump into the weekly airings of episodes around Season 3, and have been a fan ever since.

“Scoobynatural” airs this Thursday, March 29.
