The Electrical Life of Louis Wain Official Trailer

There are cat people, dog people, lovers of both, then there’s Louis Wain, who’s on a completely different level of cat person. Wain was known for his art on our beloved furry felines and his struggle with mental health. Amazon Prime Video released the official trailer for The Electrical Life of Louis Wain and it looks beautiful.

The Electrical Life of Louis Wain synopsis:

The extraordinary true story of eccentric British artist Louis Wain (Benedict Cumberbatch), whose playful, sometimes even psychedelic pictures helped to transform the public’s perception of cats forever. Moving from the late 1800s through to the 1930s, we follow the incredible adventures of this inspiring, unsung hero, as he seeks to unlock the “electrical” mysteries of the world and, in so doing, to better understand his own life and the profound love he shared with his wife Emily Richardson (Claire Foy).

Today, we have the internet to enjoy the silliness of cats as well as art. They really are interesting animals. My dad is certainly not a cat person, but even he can enjoy cat memes. And I get it. Not everyone wants a pet that shits in a box in the house, but they’re so damn cute! Benedict Cumberbatch really captured Wain’s fascination with cats and the decline of his mental health.

The Electrical Life of Louis Wain hits theaters in the US on October 22 and Amazon Prime Video US on November 5.
