The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum Will Be Available On Both Xbox And PS5

Amazon’s well-backed and upcoming Lord of the Ring series is the most exciting piece of content coming up for the franchise. However, there is also an interesting video game about the series on the horizon, that will feature the creature Gollum as the main focus.

While we’ve reported on the game before, some new information has emerged. This new info is concerning the main character himself, specifically his design, and that the game will be available on both PS5 and Xbox Series X. You can check out what Mathias Fischer, an art director on the game had to say when he spoke with Edge below.

“Tolkien didn’t give a size reference for Gollum to begin with. So in the first illustrations, he’s gigantic! He’s like a monster emerging from the swamp.”

Producer Kae Fiebig:

“Want to displease the folks who have only seen the movies. But in short, he doesn’t look like Andy Serkis.”

The game will have you play as Gollum already have been corrupted by the one ring for some time. While I don’t game as much as I used to, or would like to, I am interested in checking out this game and think it may be a unique experience.
