Avengers 4 – Evangeline Lilly Hints At The Wasp And [SPOILER] Having Scenes Together

While we still don’t know a whole lot about Avengers 4, and likely won’t for a while, we do get some news today about certain characters that may very well share screen time. Those characters being Bree Larson’s Captain Marvel and Evangeline Lilly’s Wasp. In speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Lilly revealed that she got to know Bree Larson pretty well while shooting the film.

“You know what I was working, when I was working on Avengers I got to know Brie Larson pretty well, or as much as you can on a film, and her and I talked about it. And of course she’s going to be the next titled female superhero, she’s going to be Captain Marvel, and I’m sure this will be the beginning of many many more titled Marvel films. Black Widow. Scarlet Witch. I mean I don’t know who’s next or who’s going to get a film, but it’s not, it’s just the beginning.”

Chances are, if Lilly and Larson got to know each other fairly well over the course of shooting, they were filming scenes together. So it’s probably safe to assume we will see them kicking ass together in Avengers 4.

Lilly also refers to her honor of being the first female superhero within the Marvel Cinematic Universe to have her character’s name be in the title of a film, with Captain Marvel being next in line, and possibly Black Widow eventually getting her own film as well.

You can see Evangeline Lilly as the Wasp beginning next Friday when Ant-Man and the Wasp opens nationwide.
